Fran Lewis writes:
Born in the South Bronx, I grew up with people from many ethnic backgrounds. I learned to play and work with
children in my school that came from other countries and different places.
I was always over weight as a child and got picked on a lot by the other children in my class and even my teachers. I
found it hard to do many of the sporting activities that my sister and cousins could do. I learned at an early age that
kids can be mean and I promised myself that I would never retaliate or do mean things to other kids in return.
When I decided to write my short stories I realized that I had a lot to say about my youth and in both of my books I tell
about a ten year old girl named Bertha who learns to deal with real life issues kids face today at home and in school.
I write reviews for other sites and I wrote three children’s books and currently writing one on Alzheimer Disease.
As an educator I the New York City Public Schools for over 36 years, I realized just how unique and precious our children are. I was the reading
and writing staff developer in my school and the dean. I loved the children and had the respect of my fellow teachers and parents.
Teaching children to read was really very rewarding and introducing them to writing and creating their own stories was exciting for the students. I
am a member of WhosWho of America’s Executives and Professionals as well as a member of WhosWho of America’s Teachers. I am the author
of three children’s books and my fourth entitled Memories Are Precious: Alzheimer’s Journey: Ruth’s Story will be out next month. I am currently
writing my fourth Bertha Book and another book in a different genre.

River Writers on Blog Talk Radio, from 8-10pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
Notebookwriter features probing interviews with guest authors, writers, poets, singer songwriters, journalist
and photographers. The show also features stories, commentary, poetry and prose written by Mike, as well as
what he calls his “poetry song music.”
Mike’s writing and photography focuses on people, places, experiences and events from around America and
other countries. Mike has performed solo and with musicians and bands, including his own, “Split Pea/ce, at
featured gigs and open mics in places such as Cornelia Street Café in Greenwich Village, New York City;
Spike Hill in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY; Gypsy Café in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Barking Spider Tavern, Visible
Voice Books in Tremont and Macs Backs Books on Coventry in Cleveland; and an unknown bar in the French
Quarter in New Orleans.
When she moved to Florida twenty years ago, Dellani Oakes had no idea that the history was so rich and fascinating.
Visiting St. Augustine for the first time about fifteen years ago, she felt the allure of the country's oldest city, deciding
then to write a story based there. It wasn't until nearly twelve years later that "Indian Summer" took its final form.
Dellani is a happily married mother of four, Mary Kay consultant, substitute teacher and former English teacher. When
she isn't being one of the above, she is an avid writer, spending every possible moment immersed in her other worlds.
"Indian Summer" is her only historical romance, but she also has written a series of sci-fi/ adventure novels,
contemporary romances and short stories.
"Indian Summer" is an historical novel set in St. Augustine, Florida in 1739. It is a blend of romantic fiction and
intriguing adventure. "Indian Summer" is Dellani's first book and is available from SecondWindPublishing.com or
Amazon.com
“Indian Summer” is set in St. Augustine, Florida in 1739. Under Spanish rule, the small town and fortress, the Castillo
de San Marcos, are constantly under attack by the British.
Gabriella Deza is the youngest daughter of the Spanish Governor. By accident, she discovers a plot hatched by a
British spy, to overtake the fort and town. She and her fiance, Manuel Enriques, set a trap for the spy. Unfortunately,
Gabriella is accidentally caught and kidnapped. It is up to Manuel to rescue Gabriella, catch the spy and save the
town.
Reviews:
Norm Brown: Indian Summer by Dellani Oakes is the first historical romance novel I've ever read. In fact, it's the only
romance novel of any kind I've ever read. That being said, I enjoyed reading it. The story is set in an interesting
period in early colonial Florida. I think Dellani Oakes did a particularly good job of subtly capturing the more formal
way people spoke and acted at the time, without getting caught up in using a lot of distracting dialect in the dialogue.
As far as the romance side of things, I'll just say that Gabriella, the protagonist, was one popular young lady!

Mike’s writing career began when he served in the U. S. Army. His journalism baptism was as a combat correspondent and photojournalist in the
Vietnam War. A graduate of Defense Information School, Mike began writing poetry and songs in a bunker during mortar and rocket attacks in the
Vietnam. He is completing work on his first book about writing music road trips and retro life stories.

After years of working as a Case Tool programmer, April retired from that career and pursued another love, writing children's books. Along the
way, she became a a promoter of writers and artists through her Group Red River Writers - Works of Writers & Artists Worldwide on FaceBook.
One thing led to another, and she ended up with three FB Fan pages, 15 Blog Talk Radio shows under her name, and Robin Falls Magazine. She
truly enjoys her new life and invites her friends to be involved with it.
April's children's books are family oriented, targeted for ages 2 to 10. They tell a story that is easy for a beginning reader to read, yet leaves them
with a sense of accomplishment. Many include grandparents, as well as parents. None give a lecture but all have happy endings. Her books are
loaded with colorful illustrations and are just simply fun to read. They are a transition from picture books to chapter books.
April is married. She and her husband, of 40 plus years, have two grown children and four grandchildren. All of which live in the Dallas/Ft Worth
area.

(a reader) I don't usually read this genre so I really wasn't sure if I'd like it, just on that basis alone, but this book kept me reading and involved.
The characters are well drawn and the ending surprised me. A good read!
Michelle McGriff: With the feeling of Like Water for Chocolate, I really enjoyed reading another book of this similar era and geographical location.
This is truly a romantic time and when you read a book like this you are transcended into that day and all things seem possible and real.
This was my first book by Ms. Oakes and I found it to be charming, entertaining and non-surprisingly exciting.
Gabriella-the protagonist of the story has the truly charming innocence yet-old soul-that makes her a believable main character.
Well done. I look forward to Ms. Oakes' next novel.
Claire Collins: Gabriella Deza is a young woman coming of age amid turmoil. This historical is a fabulous read.

Mary writes the following about herself:
Art, art, art. Writing. Creativity-- as much as possible. I love it more than sleep. Sometimes I pick up my guitar,
but not often enough. I sing. I write songs sometimes. I write music that is too complicated for me to play. My son
and I have jam sessions with our many instruments, some of which he invented. They are awful and wonderful.
People always giggle when they walk into my house. It's full of art, art supplies, angels, musical instruments, and
colored lights. Or maybe they're only giggling at the mess.
My art is about laughing, loving, and waking up. The medium is not as important as the end result, so I work in paint, colored pencil, clay, cloth,
digital media, and anything else that works. I have been a professional artist and illustrator for many publishing companies, both large and
small. My polyclay art was included in "The New Clay," a book by Nan Roche. I have illustrated hundreds of books, including many in the "For
Dummies" series.

Mary has written and illustrated a children's book called "Belle's Wings." "Belle's
Wings" is about a tortoise named Belle. She is an artist and a dreamer, singing and
drawing in the dirt of her zoo enclosure. Her best friend, Lankford, is a giraffe. His
height makes him a great lookout and grape-gatherer, and Belle loves to eat grapes.
When Belle tells Lankford that her fondest wish is to fly, Lankford must decide whether
to show his skepticism or support his friend's unusual dream. Both characters grow and
learn about courage, resourcefulness, loyalty and love. The story has 2,398 words,
and every spread is generously illustrated. The book also includes a small poster.

Karl Lenker, Lieutenant Colonel, USAF (retired) A-10 Warthog fighter pilot and combat veteran (Bosnia), has
logged over 29,000 hours in the air. Action is his middle name. Others write about on-the-edge adventures … Karl
Lenker lives them.
Though recently retired from piloting Boeing jets around the world for Delta Air Lines, he now flies life-saving, EMS
rescue missions, chases offshore race boats for TV, does television and movie shoots or explores central Florida
swamps for alligator conservationists — all in helicopters.
A gold medal champion rifle and pistol marksman, Karl has been an avid outdoorsman most of his life. He holds a
Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Maryland.
Writing credits include feature articles for the Jet Gazette and The Free State Guardian, military publications with
statewide (Maryland) circulation.
Final Trumpet is his debut novel. It was born when he was asked to go to west Africa to instruct the park rangers in the art of hunting poachers
from the air in ultra-light aircraft. The gruesome images he was shown during that recruiting session were disturbing and left Karl with a lasting
impression and a strong desire to do something about it. Final Trumpet is part of that “something.” As a result, a portion of the proceeds from
this book will be donated to organizations committed to protecting elephants around the world.

On her and her husband's site greenestudiosoftucson.com, is posted. "She believes that the ability to draw or sketch is a universal form of
communication. After traveling throughout the world for more than twenty years she found that the ability to sketch bridged the gap between
English and several other languages. Pictures are truly better than words. The beauty of expressing artistry with beads is universal and available
in nearly any country.
For the present, Peggy's contribution to the website contains her one-of-a-kind necklaces and earrings. Only rarely has Peggy made a copy of a
piece at the request of a customer, and that is subject to having the necessary components. Many necklaces are built around a one-of-a-kind
component. For Peggy, the fun is in the new design, the mix of materials and the colors that will make that piece unique. Before long, she will also
have paintings to display in the website's other galleries. Peggy's designs all show her inherent sense of design and her impeccable eye for color.
They are truly collector's items.
Peggy is a former business analyst for a banking software company. She is also a charter member of the Southwest Authors' Guild and writes
fiction. She has authored some of the blogs on this web site."
So Peggy is one very interesting Baby Boomer. See some of her work below. She says she is a self taught artists.
Margaret L. (Peggy) Greene is best described as a person who promised herself through all those busy
years in the work-a-day world to get to this thing and that thing later, always later. By the time she retired
from the world of banking software, there was a tremendous backlog of unfulfilled promises that she is
only beginning to keep. She says, "It is not unlike stuffing two pounds of springy marshmallows into a one
pound bag. You open the bag to get one, and whoa, look out! The urges and the ideas come flying out
so fast you sometimes need to duck."
So, Margaret is writing, painting, photographing and swimming in a sea of new technologies. Along with
her many activities at FaceBook Group Red River Writers, Margaret is a member of Southwest Authors
Guild (SWAG).
With treasured family memories at hand and a former career that required world travel, Margaret writes

writing is a way of life. Join her at http://www.scribblesandclicks.com/

Tony Angelo writes: I am a published author writing in several genres including Children’s, Poetry and Adult
fiction. I also have several books in final editing stages. For over twenty years I have worked in hospitals and
residential settings in dealing with crisis situations that include children. Working with patients and other
professionals, I have developed different types of mental tools to help deal with what may seem to be an
insurmountable problem. Life’s hectic pace hinders parents’ ability to support children in dealing with negative
influences. When de-escalating anger, the question arises, “What are the influences that triggered the
problem?”
There are many different backgrounds and identities that I have learned to embrace, simply with compassion
and dignity. The dream I have had for sometime now is to reach back and 'pay it forward'. I want to inspire
people through these stories with a big message. Hopefully these stories can touch their hearts and change
their minds. My belief is that those who learn to read can imagine their own future. Please allow me and other
creative artisans to take you on this adventure. To that end, I believe that marketability has changed in the
world of publishing and there is a need for creative thinking as well as knowledge that the writer must provide
avenues for getting their work out to the masses.
as if it were yesterday. Many students crammed into a lobby area of a dorm and listened to a very personal first-person story about a God—a God
who wanted them, loved them, and lavishly prepared a place to be with them and was waiting for them. Weeks later, several students shared their
thoughts on the story with me and of how they now had a place where they met God every day. That amazed me and I discovered one of the values
of storytelling—shelf life. Stories, like good friends, hang around.
I believe God has given me a sensitivity to the broken and bruised, the naïve and young, the hopeful and disheartened. My stories come from my
observances of life, dialogue with family and friends, my church involvement, personal discoveries and the stuff of life—growing up in an alcoholic
family, infertility, adoption, several miscarriages and a miracle or two. My undergraduate studies in social work, graduate work in social science, work
experience with young adults and troubled adolescents, along with my own personal background have provided the foundation for my storytelling.
And then there's everyday life…
Powerful things happen when a story leaves the lips of a faithful teller and reaches the listener's ears. The first sign of it is physical—crossed arms
unfold, stern and serious adult faces soften to a child-like quality and children sit almost unmoving. I seldom know exactly what happened for that
listener that connected so deeply, but I know something wonderful took place in that story moment. And that is the power of Story—its potential for
change, renewal and understanding is an awesome responsibility and honor for the teller.
I will never tire of what happens when you and I meet in the middle of a story. Never. Whether story takes me to church, a classroom, a convention,
a family room, or the rails on the side of a hospital bed, it will be my privilege to share in this intimate community created with a Story.
I look forward to sharing a Story with you...Melea"
Melea Brock writes:
Through stories I've written, folktales of old and true-life stories, I dip down into the Truth of life for my listeners.
I confront, in a non-threatening way, relationships, beauty, worry, our gifts and talents, forgiveness, healing,
the foolishness of life, God's constant presence. Through storytelling, I offer the listener a face-to-face, ear-to-
ear, heart-to-heart opportunity to be still and hear what needs to be heard.
I began storytelling in 1982 while working as an assistant dean at a small Christian college in California. I found
that if I had a story when I taught and it specifically related to the teaching, a disinterested student could
become a listener and a learner in that moment. I can remember my first story's telling, “The King Who Waits,”

Where the darkest worlds of our imaginations and the creatures that live in our fantasies come into our reality…Join us for a sixty-minute show
the last Friday every third month beginning in September where we will venture into the magical words of writers, the glorious creations of
illustrators and other artisans and craftsman forming these worlds that fuel our imaginations. Beginning with the paranormal realm, we will delve
into the heart of vampires, werewolves, zombies and other things that go bump in the night. Subsequent shows will revolve around the never
never land of dragons, knights and maidens on fair steeds; alien beings that threaten our very existence and provide us with the burning
question…are we alone; and the world of murder and mayhem with a darker twist. We are always looking for talented writers and other artisans
that delve into these magical kingdoms. Please email Bethany at behalle@comcast.net if you are interested in being on the show. We would
also love to hear from our listeners both before and during the show. Tell me, do you dare to delve into their enchanting worlds?
Bethany started writing stories and poems before she knew how to ride a bike and proceeded onto novels
by age eleven. By the time she was an early teenager fifteen novels had been written. As early adulthood,
college and life settled in; writing was placed on the back burner but never forgotten entirely.
Suddenly awakened by the rampant fantasies and untold stories of characters that flowed through her
dreams every night and filtered into her daylight hours; she could hold back the creative process no longer.
Writing novels ranging from paranormal as Bethany Halle; romance, erotic and campy murder and mayhem
mysteries based in community associations as Cassandre Dayne; and children’s books including the
upcoming M.R. Bear Series as Victoria Chenault, the flood of stories and novels keep building. Currently
she has fifteen novels, seven novellas and approximately thirty-five stories in the final editing stages.
Enter her many worlds where dreams and fantasies become realities and the fear of the unknown hopefully will keep readers intrigued for many
years to come. Visit her website www.bethanyhalle.com to learn about the many characters belonging to the paranormal vampires series In the
Shadow of Darkness. Four books are in their final editing stages with over thirty more planned. Bringing the modern world in direct conflict
with the knights of the roundtable and the darker side of protecting the devil and Dracule, the original vampire born in the pits of hell; may their
haunted world bring you as much wonderment and joy as they do Bethany.
Married and currently living in a small town in Virginia with her three four legged friends, her world is filled with endless possibilities of the future.
Let the fire of fantasy touch your reality…

I’ve embarked on a journey, with the support of others and hopefully you, to promote literacy through “The Book Tree Literacy Project” that will
focus on the importance of literacy as an advocate for children and adults literacy empowerment in every community. This project will be sponsored
and supported by the hugely successful BLACK EMPOWERED MEN Radio Show in concert with “The John T. Wills Chronicles”. We invite you to
join us and this EMPOWERMENT REVOLUTION!!!
Any accolades attributed to me are the result of the solid foundation provided by a loving grandfather. This great man assertively implanted the
concept that knowledge is power, which developed into the understanding that education is the single most important ingredient necessary to
neutralize those forces that breed poverty and despair. This philosophy planted the seeds that cultivated a life, which is “Just a Season.”
(taken from johntwillschronicles.com)

Just a Season is a luminous story into the life of a man who, in the midst of pain and loss, journeys back in time to
reexamine all the important people, circumstances, and intellectual fervor that contributed to the richness of his life.
This fictional narrative begins with a grief-stricken father visiting the grave site of his beloved son who was killed in a
tragic accident; a moment that he and no other loving parent should ever have to face. As he sadly gazes at his son’s
headstone and reads what is inscribed there, the dates 1981 – 2001 bring about an illuminating discovery.
The tiny dash that separates the years of one’s birth and death represents the whole of a person’s life. So if this tiny
dash were to tell his life’s story, what would it say? In Just a Season, the dash of this man’s life is revealed and what
emerges from the pages of this book is a legacy of true benevolence and grace.

We at Robin Falls want to help our Host George Scott, President & CEO of Books For Heroes
Charitable Foundation,in his mission. It is best explained by the following text taken from
George's site booksforheroes2010.com:
My name is George Scott and besides being the events manager at Eagle Eye Book Shop in
Decatur , Ga. , I am a man on a mission.
Of course, my mission is nothing like that of our gallant soldiers, sailors, pilots and Marines in
Iraq , Afghanistan and wherever else freedom is being defended. But it does have everything to
do with their steadfast courage and love of country.
A few years ago I wanted to supply these incredible warriors with as many quality books as
possible. It was just a small way for our literary friends, customers, publishers and authors
throughout the country to say thanks. We did so by sending more than 12,500 books overseas to
our military heroes.

My 3rd book was just accepted by publisher and should be out for Christmas: 'Home sweet Home" Illustrator Stephanie Spiegel.
It’s a children’s story about learning to deal with handicap and finding acceptance told through the eyes of a termite with turrets.
Endorsement for Home Sweet Home
There are many insects, animals and even people that want their own private space to live in. Beavers have dams, woodpeckers want their own
trees and seals would like to live in the water undisturbed. But, when poor Terrence the Termite is forced to leave his home that he has lived in
for many years, author Tony Angelo presents us with a problem that many people have when their home is sold and they have no control over
what will happen to them next, they are in need of a new abode. Terrence goes all over looking for just the right place to live. Just like people
many of the animals and creatures do not want a termite as a housemate. Author Tony Angelo once again teaches children and adults alike that
just when you think all is lost, someone comes to the rescue. Well written, easy to read and illustrations that help the story come to life, author
Tony Angelo has written another five star book.
Fran Lewis
My 2nd bookhas been accepted by publisher and should be out for Christmas: 'Honey, I'm Home" is a children's picture book with A simple story
of learning to trust. Illustrator Stephanie Spiegel.
This is a story for the early reader about learning to trust others who are different than themselves. The bear and the bee become unlikely
friends as they find each others needs and wants. Their trust wasn’t just given, it was earned. It’s a simple lesson we all must learn.
Children can also be inspired through their own creativity in both art and reading. The illustrations can be easily copied and new stories can be
told from their experiences.
Bears love honey and bees make it. How can these two unlikely creatures work together and form an alliance, well author Tony Angelo figured
out a way to show that all creatures can get along. Sleeping away the winter and waking up in spring, Lee, the Bear meets Honey the Bee and
they become fast friends. This is a tale that teaches the reader that differences can be put aside and friendships created when you look past
outer appearances. How can a bear and a bee become friends? Author Tony Angelo’s story Honey in Home is a heartwarming tale that teaches
the reader that friendships come when you least expect it. Honey Bee and Lee the Bear take the reader on a wonderful journey into the lives of
many of the animals in the forest teaching both children and adults: what else: Who loves Honey and who does not? What other animals eat and
what they do not? Friendships, understanding, teamwork, and humor fill this great new story by the master of storytelling, Tony Angelo. For those
honey lovers, you might want to make friends with these two great characters and get your own supply the golden sweet treat.

My first book: go biz Nebi ‘very clever firefly
Illustrations by Maribeth Jenkins Lubitsky
Publisher is Publish America
Endorsement for A Very Clever Firefly
A Very Clever Firefly goes behind that of most children’s books. As an educator I find this book an
invaluable resource to teach children character education and family values. Even more it has a treasure
chest of lessons that can be used when teaching lessons in multi-culture, diversity and tolerance.
Kindness, patience, understanding, teamwork and life skills are all valuable lessons that are taught
in Sunday schools. Using this book as a resource to start the lesson would definitely create a definite
spark of interest in the children and keep them engaged in the lessons being taught.
The firefly is like the universal father of all insects and creatures in this story. You fall in love with him and all of the insets in this story. It even
takes away the fear you have of getting stung by a bee.
With children having to learn that not everyone grows up the same way and sometimes the differences in our appearances hamper how we look,
walk or act, this story teaches in a positive manner how using our intelligence, thinking and listening to the answers for the questions we ask is
better than anger, hate and being mean. You can hear the sounds of all of the creatures working together at the end of the story sounding like
their own rock band. To me it is a like a newly created symphony of beautiful sounds to hear and to behold.
Fran Lewis
Author, Tony Angelo's "Firefly Story" is a very imaginative children's book. It will help parents and others affirm the value of each child through
the content of the book. I found the story to give instruction in bite sized pieces that small children can understand and enjoy. Children love bug
stuff so I can hardly wait to read it to my granddaughters.
Elaine Littau, author of Nan's Journey
"This is a sweet story that shows young children that people of all kinds—even those who are "different"—make important contributions to our
world."
Deirdre Wright, Founder, ASCEND Group, the Autism and Asperger
"Children will adore this book because of what it teaches them about life. Their parents will love the book because the book's lessons are so
valuable and important."
-- Dave Lieber, Fort Worth Star-Telegram
"An engaging story for children. It teaches diversity without being heavy-handed. I enjoyed the author's use of the interaction of insects as
metaphors to teach about "roles" in society. Very clever!"

Daria DiGiovanni was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in the nearby suburb of Media. The
youngest of five children in a close-knit family, she earned a B.A. in English from Villanova University before
relocating to South Florida at age 27. A passionate wordsmith from a very early age, DiGiovanni’s experience
includes copywriting, website content, e-proposal and RFP writing, blogging and book editing. Her first novel,
Water Signs: A Story of Love and Renewal, loosely chronicles her own 16-year spiritual and personal growth
journey in a simultaneously heart-wrenching and uplifting tale of first love, family, second chances, forgiveness,
gratitude and patriotism.
DiGiovanni has also appeared on numerous internet talk radio programs, as well as traditional AM channels.
Thanks to her performances during these interviews, show hosts Premo Mondone, Stephen Rhodes and
Steven Rosenblum invited her to assume regular co-hosting duties on their unique Blog Talk broadcasts –
opportunities the author/activist happily accepted. Until recently, on the first and third Saturdays of the month
at 9 p.m. Eastern, she co-hosted Red State Town Hall with Premo Mondone, and on Tuesday evenings at 9 p.
m. Eastern, The Republican Temple with Stephen Rhodes.
Every Saturday at 6 p.m. DiGiovanni continues to co-host Conservative Republican Forum with Steven Rosenblum, which has received rave
reviews from Parcbench.com. She also makes recurring visits to BTR programs Neidner’s Talk Show, Freedom’s Wings, The Black Sphere ,
Patriot Action Live, The Fritch Show and Young Gun Conservative. And you can find her occasionally on Kevin Price’s excellent show, Price of
Business on CBS Radio.
On January 7, 2010, DiGiovanni launched her own internet TV program called The Liberty Belle Hour on WAFS-TV. A high-energy combination
of entertainment, insight and debate, the show features accomplished guests from a variety of fields including politics, pop culture, health and
wellness, small-business and publishing. With the closure of the WAFS-TV studio at the end of June, 2010, DiGiovanni relocated The Liberty
Belle Hour to Blog Talk Radio, where she now broadcasts every Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. Eastern. The new show debuted on August 5,
2010 with Philly Sportsradio personality Steve Trevelise. And just as before, live chat is always open and calls are gratefully received!
In other news, Ms. DiGiovanni won the Book of the Week Award from Blurb! Talk Radio, competing with several other fiction writers for that
coveted title. She appeared on Blurb! Talk Radio with Dr. Kent and Sally to discuss her book on July 15, 2009. Listen to the interview here.
On September 23, 2009, DiGiovanni addressed the Hawthorne Writers Group in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Watch the video of her presentation

Madeline Rose is a sweet, sheltered and eternally youthful young woman of 25—the youngest child of a prominent Philadelphia neurosurgeon.
Despite the unending support of a loving, close family, she battles formidable insecurities, thanks to a recent, bitter break-up with her first real
boyfriend and a turbulent adolescence characterized by a few extra pounds. Unsure of her future, she struggles to live up to her potential as well
as her highly educated pedigree, given her fortunate placement in an impressive ancestral heritage.
Still adjusting to civilian life after four years in the United States Navy, handsome, affable and ambitious Ken Lockheart has two goals: to rise
above his blue-collar, Shore town roots and to marry his true love. Though the epitome of the classic, all-American male with his boyish good
looks, six-foot frame and broad, muscular body, he retains a basic humility borne of a relentless work ethic and an inner drive to succeed.
When a chance encounter in a Somers Point nightclub initiates an unexpected relationship, neither one of them is prepared for the ensuing
odyssey of heartbreak, personal growth and spiritual development that fuels their individual life lessons and leads them full-circle to a Divinely
guided conclusion.

I met a local writer's workshop group at the public library and through their steady encouragement, along with my many friends (online and
offline) I started taking baby steps toward fulfilling my goal of producing a novel.
I've had many road blocks and speed bumps in my life, but now that I achieved that first goal, my new goal is to continue writing and putting out

My Magnum Opus which in Latin means, “Great work,” is a collection of my poetry to which I have written
over the past decade. One of my greatest achievements, besides being a devoted Mother, is being a
dedicated writer. Writing is my one of my greatest joys in my life and I hope that you will find my work
enjoyable to your spirit and your soul. Embrace it, challenge your mind , and with it, do something intrinsic;
have faith in yourself that you can do and be anything you want to be, with hard work and commitment to
your particular goal, nothing is impossible for you.”My Mother told me several years ago, “If God wants it to
happen for you, He will make it happen.” That rings so very true in my life and my experiences as a young
woman and a Mother of a beautiful and radiant child, Elizabeth Paige McKoy. I grew up in the Washington-
Metropolitan area and have one sibling, Edward McKoy who has been a positive influence in my life. My
parents were Margaret Y. Mckoy and Thomas Hall McKoy III. I was raised in a loving and nurturing
environment. My Mother had strong Christian virtues and raised me with high morals and values, which you
will find in my writing. I have found that in my lifetime, that sometimes God has to break us down to rebuild
us again, and He has done that with me a multitude of times. It is my experience that we lead by example,
meaning, giving back part of what one has been given in one's life; it is imperative. I am not perfect, and I
have made my share of mistakes, but I have hence learned that it is what you do with those mistakes that
you make and how you grow from those mistakes that mold you into the person you become in life. Nothing
in this world happens by mere chance alone, and we each have a purpose in our lives. What is your
purpose? If you do not know, I would encourage you to find it, for within you, deep down inside you, is a
rare gift that needs to be shared with the world. I challenge you to find out what your gift is, and when you
do, do something positive with it and, move forward, not in fear, but in faith. My endeavor has just begun as
a Poet, Novelist, and as a Children's Book Author. Today, I challenge you to begin to plant a few seeds
and see what blooms for you in your life; you will soon thereafter have a magnificent garden. (Taken from

adults and children has taught me that people learn and retain lessons more effectively from doing, not merely from watching

"Speak Out America Now" with Peter Dawson is a new political talk radio program focused on the current events affecting America. We live at a
unique time in American history where our country faces many challenges and has to choose a direction. This program will serve as a voice for
the people. The format will include host commentary, guest interviews and call- ins. Please join us for this provocative and intelligent discussion
on American politics.
Peter J Dawson is the list owner of FaceBook Group I bet we can find 1,000,000+ people who disapprove of the
Health Care Bill. This Group was started on March 15, 2010 to send a substantial message to those in Washington
who are not listening to their constituents.
The purpose of this Group is to serve as an outlet and organizational platform for those that believe in health care
reform, but believe that such should be bipartisan, fiscally responsible, minimize role of government and be approved
through a legislative process true to the intent of our Constitution. We welcome people of all party affiliations.
Since the bill was passed, this group has had phenomenal – record setting growth of 200-300 new members per
minute. Our title says 1,000,000+ and we well expect millions to join us in this fight.
We will continue to serve as a basis for information, ideas and a platform to mobilize action to repeal this law. Our fight
will remain focused, civilized and non violent and will continue until our goal is achieved.
*********************
Road to Repeal
Step 1: Take back majority in House and Senate in Nov 2010(Crucial).
Step 2: Congress blocks funding for implementation of HC law.
Step 3: Nov 2012 take back Presidency.
Step 4: Feb 2013 repeal law and replace with bipartisan, incremental reform that is fiscally responsible and market drive.
Mixed reviews about whether States’ suits can be successful. Process likely to take 12-18 mos. unless fast tracked to Supreme Court which Dems
would likely block. We need a long term commitment to undo this, but we can. Focus on Step 1.

"For inspiration, I could cite dozens of insightful, even moving, passages from the great Aldo Leopold. In fact, my graduate advisor at the
University of Arizona, Lyle Sowls, was one of Leopold's last grad students; I have, therefore, a sort of academic lineage with the man. But my
favorite quotation on conservation is by Baba Dioum, the Senegalese environmentalist:
"In the end we will conserve only what we love. We love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught."
I believe this statement is as true today as it was when Dioum first uttered these words in a speech over 40 years ago. His message has guided
my teaching of natural history for most of my adult life."

MJ Goodnow was born into the Scaniffe family of New London, CT. Shortly afterward, in 1978, he was
adopted by the Goodnow's. His parents were Rosa Goodnow, a retired telephone operator, and Wallace
Goodnow Sr., a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. He had three brothers, PS, Wally, and Patrick, and two
sisters, Julie and Fran.
His youth was interrupted by tragedies when his oldest brother Wallace Goodnow Jr. was shot to death
in 1981, and his brother PS died in a motor vehicle accident in 1984.
Goodnow's parents believed strongly in the importance of education, and MJ did his best to respect
their wishes. In 1990, when MJ was in high school, he met the teacher who inspired him to write. That
teacher was Wally Lamb, an award winning author. It was at that period in MJ's life that the concept and
characters for the story that is titled Red Storm Regime, and its sequels were first born.
In the fall of 1999, MJ enrolled at Three Rivers Community College in Connecticut where he began studies to become a Jesuit Priest.
Those studies and that plan conflicted with MJ's committed faith in Druidism and other ancient wisdoms. For four years, he continued his
education and majored in Theology and minored in Anthropology before he decided the priesthood would be the wrong career choice. The
decision paid off.
MJ Goodnow met Marie Pacha in October 2008 and a partnership was entered into, with the intent of creating an entire series; the Regime
Guard's 1000 Years of War Series. In April 2009, Weaving Dreams Publishing accepted Red Storm Regime for publication. The official
release date is July 18, 2010.
MJ and Marie have already started work on the second book in the series, Regime Silence, and the book that will tie the series together,
The Book of Lucid: Trinity of Good, Trinity of Evil.

Since men first started recording words on the walls of caves and on parchment, the greatest stories handed
down through the ages deal with the battle between good and evil. The first four volumes of The Regime
Guard's: 1000 Years of War Series continue in that tradition with four separate, but interlinked stories of the
fight for dominance of an entire galaxy. The stories are set approximately 300 years apart, and show the
evolution and the rise and fall of the three primary societies as the eternal struggle to balance good and evil
rages on.
Red Storm Regime is the first volume of the series and in a unique twist to the norm it is not the adults who are
the saviors of the forces of good, but rather a group of eight pre-teen children who are willing to give up their
youth and their innocence to preserve the way of life of an entire galaxy.
One by one, these youngsters instantaneously morph from children into adults through the power of their god
Elahim who represents the ultimate good. They are lead by Lena and Elana, twin sisters who were torn from one
another at birth yet retained a psychic link.
They step forward to fight forces that range from the savage Strigoi, to the mystic, Lucid, a minion of the evil
goddesses. They put their faith in ancient prophecies and become the Storm Regime. This initial war, which is
fought both in space and on the planets of the galaxy between the Interrans, the Damanites, and Keyrie races,
lays the groundwork for the sequels. As this manuscript ends in a spectacular battle, the Damanite race is
decimated and the Zaeferi race survives to rebuild its civilization.

Center in Uppsala, Sweden. The Trans Siberian Railway took them from St. Petersburg to fourteen cities in Siberia to distribute humanitarian aid
and to share the gospel of Christ. Two years later they volunteered on a World War II ship, whose sole purpose was to transport Russian Jews
from the Black Sea to Haifa, Israel. They sailed from Seattle, Washington to Scandinavia, the Baltics, England, Russia, Greece, and Israel.
Sharon founded the Surf City Writers Group in their hometown of Huntington Beach, California, and in 2006, she happily returned to her
southern roots when they moved to Fort Mill, South Carolina. Sharon has an A.A. in theology, she is a member of the Tega Cay Writers Group,
the Charlotte Writers Club, and she works part time for Books-A-Million.
A self-taught writer, she plans to have her inspirational book, Lady and the Sea, published next year. The novel, based on a true story in the
90's, takes the reader around the world on a World War II ship. Lady and the Sea was written to encourage readers of all ages that it's never too
late for their dreams to come true!

Strong lines. Bold colors. Dazzling perspectives. All three distinguish Wade Zahares’ larger-than-life
pastel paintings. Wade’s magical scenes pull readers in with their sweeping curves and unexpected
angles, like an insect’s view of a garden or a bird’s-eye view of the Statue of Liberty. “I love creating a
whole little world that doesn’t exist in everyday life,” he says.
Both a fine artist and a children’s book illustrator, Wade has always loved to draw. But it wasn’t
something that came easily. “In high school, I spent a lot of time in the art room,” he says. “Other
students would just sit down and draw people or horses really beautifully. I would struggle to draw.”
But Wade had passion, and the persistence to back it up. Recognizing this, his high school art
teacher suggested he make a career of his art. The idea quickly took hold, and before Wade knew it,
he was applying to art schools.
Since graduating from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, Wade has been a full-time, professional artist. He got his start doing
corporate commissions; his captivating pastel paintings, sometimes as large as 3 1/2 by 6 feet, have been commissioned by Boston Duck
Tours, Bank of America, McDonald’s, HBO, Cinemax, and Family Circle and Sesame Street magazines. His work is also in the permanent
collection of the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
But it’s children’s books that really nudge Wade out of his artistic comfort zone. Before Wade did books, he preferred drawing landscapes,
cityscapes, and buildings. His first book, Window Music, pushed him to paint people and animals. Critics liked the result. Both Time Magazine
and The New York Times cited Window Music as among the best picture books of 1998. Since then, Wade has illustrated five additional picture
books, each of which challenged him in different ways. He enjoys sharing his creative process, challenges and all, when he speaks and
conducts workshops at galleries and schools.
Wade works exclusively in pastel; he is drawn to the intimacy of the chalk and the ease with which he can blend colors. The magic happens in
his studio, a converted shed just off his main house. The studio, equipped with 15-foot ceilings and a house gutter to catch all the pastel dust,
is set on 5 1/2 acres of farmland in Lyman, Maine, just a few miles from the Kennebunk farm on which he grew up. When Wade needs a break,
he goes for a drive to soak up the New England landscape—his biggest inspiration—or tends to his flowers, gardens, and fruit trees.
Then he returns to his studio, refreshed and ready to make more magic.

Taken from Rose's website http://www.rose-cooper.com:
I'm a middle grade author and illustrator with Delacorte/Random House Publishing. I'm represented by
Rosemary Stimola of the Stimola Literary Studio. My debut book, GOSSIP FROM THE GIRLS ROOM, A
Blogtastic! Novel, will be out 01-11-11. The second Blogtastic! Novel, RUMORS FROM THE BOYS
ROOM, will be out spring 2012.
Here's the bio from Random House:
ROSE COOPER is a children's writer and illustrator and a self-taught artist. Her art work can be seen in
local galleries, art fairs, and festivals. Writing for children gives her the perfect excuse to keep in touch
with her inner child and never really grow up. She lives in Sacramento, California with her husband, Carl,
and their three boys.
What these bio's won't tell you is the embarrasing or quirky traits that a writer has. Ha! Good thing I don't have any of those! So instead I'll share
some totally perfect and absolutely normal-yet random and so not boring-info about myself.
I'm a total chocoholic. Yes, I'm addicted to chocolate. If my furniture was made coompletely out of chocolate...lets just say i would be sitting on
the floor right now. And I wouldn't be typing on this laptop.
My favorite guilty pleasure is to curl up at night with my Snuggie (the ultra plush kind) and watch one of my all time favorite shows (like The Hills,
The City, Glee...) and eat chocolate chip cookie dough. Of course I don't get many of these nights though.
I have a major fear--as in, I will scream and run with my head under a blanket and hide in my room until I know the coast is clear. And that major
fear is moths. But anything that looks like it could be a moth and has wings, will have the same effect on me. I was once trapped in my room for
an entire night due to a Dragonfly invasion (well, one dragonfly). I even tried throwing 15 pairs of shoes at it. Sigh. It's a long story.
I have never been in an airplane before. EVER. Okay, except this one time when I jumped out at 14,000 feet. Skydiving. So really, I've never
landed in an airplane before. EVER.
Growing up I was a morticians (step) daughter. Corpses and all. Need I say more?

Lakisha writes the following about herself:
Where to start? I suppose with the basics.
I'm a single parent of highly creative children. I've been writing stories since the tender age of 8. I've written fan
fics (mostly during my high school years) and the stories tended to favor such shows as Star Trek, SeaQuest,
and Highlander, just to name a few. I did a lot of poetry writing too during my high school years.
After high school I went to college and got two degrees: an AAS from Mountain Empire Community College (Big
Stone Gap, Virginia) and a BA in Communications from the University of Virginia-Wise (Wise, Virginia).
It wasn't until after the birth of my first child that I considered writing a novel. Once I moved from Virginia to
Florida in 2004, my goal solidified. I began work on a novel called "Moonbeams and Moonlight."

Seventeen-year-old Laylah Le Croix has a rich father, mansion, and servants. Yet she is lonely and neglected. Her
father would rather work than speak to her. At the academy she is bullied and mistreated.
When Weres attempt to kidnap Laylah, she is saved by the mysterious Donil Silentshadow. Donil rouses feelings in
Laylah that make her question her life and her father's animosity toward her handsome rescuer. Confused by these
emotions, she seeks answers from those closest to her and is rebuffed.
She must make a choice. Obey her father's edicts or follow her heart to learn the truth about her past.
Special Lieutenant Jewels Enbran, a human telepath unable to shield her mind from thoughts, uses telepathic anchors
who protect her vulnerable mind. Her current anchor, Colonel Jeremy Lingley, is nearing burnout. An alien race is
seeking an alliance with Earth and the pair are assigned the mission of discovering the aliens' secrets.
Crown Prince Dex LoudRoar is a Gatoan warrior and a royal with a terrible secret. His people wage a constant war
against their enemy, the Lupinious empire. But the tide of battle is turning and his people seek help from a new source:
the humans of Earth.
With an interstellar war looming, Jewels and Dex seek salvation for their planets and find their destinies changed forever.
