| Submission Guidlines |
We are now taking submissions for our new online, quarterly magazine, Robin Falls Magazine, which will go live on December 1, 2009. In the Robin Falls Kids section for ages 1 to 18, we are looking for articles, stories, poem, interviews, kid’s activities, book reviews, writing and promotional tips, coloring pages, and book trailers. In the Red River Writers section for ages 19 and up, we need articles, interviews, book reviews, sneak peek into your books, photos of your artwork (This includes photography), writing tips, short stories, poetry & lyrics, and book trailers or videos related to your business. All worded submissions need to be under 1,000 words. We just need the embedded code for your videos. Please only submit work that you have the copyright on. The magazine is copyrighted for your protection, but you retain the rights to your work. As an introductory offer and to help you promote your work at Christmas, my FaceBook friends and members of FB group Red River Writers are allowed to have one book cover for FREE in the Book and Art Shop through February 15, 2010. It will include a link to amazon. com or one of your choice for purchase. Each additional book cover is $10 a year to be paid through paypal. Also, we will be glad to display one website link FREE through February 15th, 2010. Each additional link will be $10 a year and small banners are $20 a year. Robin Falls Magazine will be visible and advertised throughout the year after it goes live on Dec 1st. We are currently exploring mass media markets to distribute the magazine’s monthly newsletter. Suggestions on companies you have used are appreciated. Just send your work to my e-mail address aprilrobins@hughes.net. Please title the message “Robin Falls Magazine.” All submissions for the Dec 1st edition are due no later than November 1st. April Robins aprilrobins@hughes.net P.S. If you would like permanent placement after that, they are $10 per video per year. All Guests at our Blog Talk Radio shows Red River Writers Live or Robin Falls Kids will be given FREE for one edition: a book cover, a web link, a video of their choice, and a biography on the Show's Guest page.
